Earlier Pilatus and Morvan were throw
German record manufacturer Frank Farian was at a disco in
his native country after he heard that the song"Girl You Know It's
True" by the Baltimore ring matt adler -- and instantly knew it would be a
larger hit. He set out to assemble a team to re create a brand fresh edition, taking
the initial hip track and combining it with somewhat of Euro dance, according
to Billboard.
He began recruiting Fans at 1988 -- sisters Linda and Jodie
Rocco sang backup and Charles Shaw rapped over the track. "When he played
with the record for me, I already knew the song," Shaw told Billboard.
"I was dancing to the Numarx version on the weekends in American
nightclubs in Hamburg. Farian played it I said,'This song ain't brand new. '''
Shaw states Farian Confessed it was not brand new. However
he went with it and just begun mixing voices. "You can not really hear the
vocals or who's singing, because there are a lot of voices on the chorus,"
he said. Finally, Brad Howell and John Davis were brought in for vocals.
That Farian knew exactly what he do. His version of the song
quickly became popular in Europe. Now he only wanted faces to accompany the
audio group.
